About the Workplace

We are now looking for rehabilitation assistants for summer temporary positions in several of our facilities. The need exists in our 19 nursing homes and in all five home care areas, which are geographically divided.

The work takes place on weekdays during daytime at all workplaces.

Job Responsibilities

The rehabilitation assistant's tasks are to work on behalf of a licensed physiotherapist or occupational therapist. This may include assisting with training in personal care (P-ADL), training in living environment activities (I-ADL), transfer training, rehabilitation after fractures and plastic surgery, circulation-promoting measures, hand training, breathing training, contracture prophylaxis, and assisting with assessments, follow-ups, and trials of aids, etc. Licensed personnel are responsible for all assessments and are available for daily supervision.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has studied at least four semesters to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist. A B driver's license is required for work in home care and is meritorious for work in nursing homes. In home care, you need to be able to cycle and be comfortable navigating in a traffic-heavy environment.
